We were also gratefvl to the 512recrow Commtttee for paying £420 for the repair of our fronta8e dock Income retumed to pre-covid levels and we were hble to tran5Fer £7,000 to our endowment reserves which now stand at £45,580 in one bank account as opposed to two previously. Reserves It is not the charitys policy to build up unrtecessary high reserves although the trustees endeavour to maintain these at a reasonable level to meet rentsl voids and unforeseen or unusual expenditure. The investment policy of holding surplus funds in interest bearing accounts is considered appropriate and the trustees are satisfied that there is a reasonable expettation that the￿ are adequate reserves to continue to meetthe charit¢s objectives in the foreseeable future. Et is intended that the Pear50n Hall Trust EndoTAment Fund be built up over a number of years in order to meet any future major repair orstructural costs whth cannot be fvnded out of the dayto day revenue.
