Caedmon Colle e Whitb Private Fund istered Charitv Number 1048288 Annual Re ort for the ear ended 31 March 2024 The charity has been administered by the Business Manager for the Whitby Secondary Partriership Federation, in eonjunclion with Head of School and a designated Governor of the Whitby Secondary Federation Partnership. The governing document is by a constitution adopted 6 February 1995, as amended in September 2014 when the College amalgamated with Caedmon School. The bankers to the Charity are Virgin Money (fom)erly The Yorkshire Bank) and the independent examiners to the accounts are Wasley Chapman LLP, Chartered Accountants. The trustees are Susan Boyd (Head of School), Mr Mark Taylor (designated Federation Govemor}, Sally Nedley (Finance Officer) and Jackie Hunter {Business Manager). The object of the charity has been to advance and enrich the educational outcomes of students at Caedmon College Whitby and Whitby Sixth Fonn by providing or assisting in the provision of educational, recreational and other charitable facilities in augmentation of such facilities financed by the Local Authority. During the year, a range of educational visits and many enrichment activities took place, supported by the fund. The fund also continued to support vulnerable learners throughout the year with equipment and other resources. The fund continued to support trips and enrichment activities for students, including subsidising the costs of foreign ex¢hange visits. Some site improvements have also taken place over the year, including improving safety and security acros5 the schools siles. I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in Carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)Ib} ofthe Act. Independent examiner's statement I have completed my examination. I confim that no material mallers have come to my attention in connection with the ex2mination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect.. l. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act,. or 2. the accounts do not aord with those records.
