|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | The Friends of Lavant Primary School charity has made a remarkable difference to the pupils and staff of Lavant Primary school during this academic year. Through our fundraising activities we have been able to provide resources, fund trips and enhance the life of the pupils at the school in a manner that they would not otherwise been able to access. As a small village school, we have encouraged community involvement and nurtured a thriving parent/child community also. With government budgets being stretched more year on year, The Friends of Lavant Primary School have been able to support teachers, parents and children of the school by providing additional funding to supplement activities, the cost of which would otherwise have to be passed back to the parents. |
