Activities
The Isle of Wight Cantata Choir hold two concerts per year with a full orchestra and professional soloists. We are a choir of some 120 members.With effect from 2022 the choir is establishing a Bursary Scheme to assist young musicians on the Isle of Wight with their musical studies. This will be a biannual event. A legacy of £20000 received in 2021 makes this possible.
Objects: The Objects Of Cantata Shall Be To Advance, Improve, Develop And Maintain Public Education In, And Appreciation Of, The Art And Science Of Music In All Its Aspects By Any Means The Trustees See Fit, Includingthrough The Presentation Of Public Events.
