oLZEAr <IÈE s A￿l￿r9 Chair erson re ort 2023 2024 Polzeath surf life savin Club Another fantastic year for the club great to see the new faces making foundations for future years in the club the missing piece of the jigsaw for the club done, events gone well with parents getting involved. We have had a great number of new coaches which makes the future very bright for the club and some coaches developing their skills taking the level 2 course. We need this to keep working for another year ortwo as numbers keep rising and some transition into the junior section. The sharing of roles has worked really well, making the club even more effective and more people with knowledge of what goes on. Competition numbers have been great across all section of the club it was fantastic to be asked to host the region youth competition. The Club committee and coaches had a massive responsibility again this year as numbers kept rising every time we have an intake the waiting list just gets bigger, with training on the beach, thank everyone for their help, support, and professionalism in this year. Across the club in competitions, life guard trainin& lifesaving we have had great rewards for everybody's hard work overthis year and many more years before that. The consistent results we achieve across all section and all competitions shows what the clubs is about giving one an all a chance to compete and performer to the best of their ability The finances are in a very good place forthe club aided by a few grants to helpthis year. We still need to be aware of getting funds in by grant or fundraising is needed. It was great due to our finances being so good that we held club membership price for yet another year. Thank you one and all for everything you do forthis fantastic community club.
