The object of the Association is to advance the education of the pupils in the school. In furtherance of this objective, the Association may: Develop more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school. • Engage in activities which support the school advancing the education of the pupils attending IL • Provide and assist in the provision of such facilities or items for education at the school (not provided from statutory funds) as the Committee, in consultstion with the Governing "body, shall from time to time determine.
Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or services identified in the accounts. 11 ar Each year the PTA runs a Christmas and Summer Fair, which as well as raising funds for the school* provides an opportunity for all families at the school to come together and build familiarity with and commitment to the school. The staff plays an important role in supporting these events. volunteering their time alongside the parents. Each year the PTA run a start of year social event to welcome new parents to the school which is also attended by the teaching staff. • The PTA run a number of other events during the year which assist in building relationships between the families and school staff. These include quiz nights, cheese and wine functions, school productions etc. Provision of Funds and Facilities During the financial year. the PTA funded a number of requests from the school, including leamlng resources. equipmen( and contributions for class needs as well as expenses for events as detsiled below: Air conditioning units for Hall Air conditioning units for x2 classrooms End of year teacher gifts (22123) End of year teacher gifts (23124). Achievements and Performance The Charity has had a good year raising funds for the school. Financial Review Review of the charity's financial position at the end of the period The Charity does not have an official policy on reserves. but the treasurer looks to maintain enough money in the bank accounts to fund all forthcoming expenses, including for events and any funding commitments to the school. At no point in the year was the primary account overdrawn.
