Annual Report for the period From 1 September 2019 to 31 August 2020 Charity name: Cuddington Croft Parent Teacher Association Charity registratlon number: 1042792 Objectives and Activities The object of the Parent Teacher AsSoc￿lI0n (PTAI is to adVar￿ tIE edwtion of the pupils in the school in particular by= Developing effective relationships between the staff. parents and (Xhers associated wtlh the school. Engaging in aGINities or providing facilities or ￿U1pmant which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it. We engage in activrf(ies such as social functions. school evenls and fundraising. We keep in mind the Charty Commission's guidance on public benefrt in planning our a£livities for the year. Any surplus funds shall generally be used for the ￿nerrt of the schcol as soon as possible and in response to r8quesls from the 6chool. If therè is a long lemi major projéct undertaken, funds can be left to eccn towards the project. Volunteers The PTA is enti￿lY dependent on volunteers. Many people have been involved in PTA events during the year. Some work tirelessty behind the scenes organising. administering and planning and many spend time helping al the actual events. The Truslees would like to extend their sin￿re gratitude to all those who have supported the PTA this year. Their contribution helps the children have an even better school experience. Achievements and Perfomiance Fundraisin The PTA was able to generate a surplus of £15,370 from events, despite activities tseing significanty curtailed due lo Covid-19. We had a hugety successful visit from the Circus, the first time in a number of years. We were also able to run some annual favouriies- Fireworks, Christrnas Fair, School Disco and Sponsored Swim- which were thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. The children raised funds by crealing their artislic Christmas cards and working hard to eam a.￿b a job. at home. The Cuddington Crafters On￿ again sokl some amazing crafts. ArKI the Bag 2 Sch￿1 scheme was as popular 89 ever. 100 Club continued to run throughoul the year. giving participants a Chan￿ to win in the rnonthty prize draw even during lockdown. And we were able to use the new online platfom to offer sales of second hand unifom during the summer holidays in Pfeparaknn for the new sch￿1 year.

Pa ments to the schwl The PTA were delighted to contribute £9.693 to enhance the facilities at the school. This included: A defib machine, important lrfe saving equipment., Marquees to enable better use of outdoor sp￿e in all Y￿ather conditK)ns' Virtual Realty headsets to enhance the children's leaming through experiencing sf(es and adivilies in 3D.' and An Intera￿￿e touch table for Nursery and Recepts"on. The AGM held in Octotr 2019 agreed that a large percentage of the reserves wouhj be invested into a long term project. The favoured project was to increase the amount of ouldoor space that Can be used all year round. It has not been possible to pr(Jress projects such as this due to Covid-19 restrictions. The school confirmed at the Novembef 2020 AGM Ihal it would be best to continue to defer decisions on funding projects until life returns lo normal. School Leavers The PTA was also pleased to be able to fund the Year 6 hcK)dies and year books in recognition ofthe hard work and contribUt￿n M￿le ty the pupils and parents during their time at the schcrf)l. Fbnancial Revbew The PTA has lotsl reserves of £66,032 at the end of the year. held as cash al bank. A minimum working balan￿ of £5,000 shall be maintained at all times and a deS￿nated fund of £10.000 shall be maintained for possible long term pool repair costs. Given the strong financial position and ongoing support of the pafent body, the Trustees are confident that the charity is a going concern. Structure. Governance and Management The PTA is an unincorporated association and is goveTned by its Constitut￿n. The Trustees are nominated and elected by Ihe members at the AGM.
