Section C Objectives and activities
The objective of the Association is to advance the education of the pupils in the school. In furtherance to this objective, the Association may:

Section D Achievements and performance
The Association organised several fundraising events during the year. Summary of the main achievements of the charity The three biggest earning events were the summer fayre, the Christmas during the year fayre and the Christmas raffle, raising over £1000 each.
There were a host of community driven, inclusive events run including the Festival of Light Family night and silent disco for autism week, samosa sales and a boss lady mother’s day celebration.
Three new events were introduced in the year. Carols on the common made a popular return to the village along with a Bouncy day and the introduction of a Spooky Spoons competition for Halloween.
The Association moved to largely cashless events simplifying the payments process and launched TGFS Instagram to send updates to parents.
The money raised during the year was used to fund several teacher wishlist items including an outdoor stage area, play costumes for reception classes, outdoor learning kits for Year 1 and book carousels for year 2.
The Association was able to purchase 32 tablets along with storage and IT support for the school. 60 ‘Colour Monster Goes to School’ books for new starters were bought along with a Circus Skills day for the school.
Section E Financial review
The Association aims to spend the majority of funds raised each year for Brief statement of the the benefit of the school and its pupils. The committee maintains a small charity’s policy on reserves level of reserves to cover any unforeseen expenses or fluctuations in fundraising income. The current reserves are considered appropriate for the charity’s needs.

Responsibilities and As the charity trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordan with the Charities Act 2011 {"the Act").
