Damage lo the building, property and equipment - Th8 District would r8quest the use of buildings, prop6rty and equipment from neighbouring organisations such as the church, community centre and olher Scout Districts. Similar reciprocal arrangements exist with these organisations. The District has sufficient buildings and contents insuranc£ in p18ce to mitigate against permanent loss. Injury to leaders, helpers, supporters and members. The District through the capitation fees conlribules to the Scout Associations national accident insurance policy. Risk Assessments are undertaken before all activities. Reduced incnme from fund raising The District is primarily reliant upon income from subscriptions and fundraising. The Districl does hold a reserv8 to ensure the continuity of activities should there be a major reduction in income. The Committee could raise the value of subscriptions to increase the income to th8 Districl on an ongoing basis. either temporarily or parmanently. Reduction or loss of le8d6rs. The District is totally reliant upon volunteers to run and administer the activities of the District.
