Through the PTA’s fundraising efforts the children were given the opportunity to connect in a safe environment and thoroughly enjoyed each event, whilst funds were raised both to provide resources for the school during the year and to build reserves towards a complete remodel of the school playground planned for future years.

Review of the charity’s
financial position at the end
of the period
Para 1.21 The charity’s financial position at 31 August
2025 is set out in the attached accounts.
Total income for the year was £29,264.93
and total expenditure was £8,909.19, giving
a net surplus of £20,355.74.
Total funds carried forward at 31 August
2025 were £50,633.72 (1 September 2024:
£30,277.98), all of which are unrestricted
and held as cash at bank, reconciling to the
year-end bank reconciliation.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of Wells Primary PTA for the year ended 31 August 2025.

Responsibilities and basis of report

As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under s. 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under s. 145(5)(b) of the Act.
