The setting has invested in its outside area over the last year to ensure every child has the opportunity to experience the natural environment, developing all children's skills in the world around them helping them to explore and learn about caring for animals, taking part in water play, messyl mud kitchen play, gross motor skill play such as playing football, climbing, jumping, running. The setting has involved parents throughout the year to help families create a strong community where they can meet and make friends with each other allowing the children to add to their cultural capital and community spirit. Parents have commented they really enjoy these open days as it allows them to see first hand how their children learn and develop through play and with some adult input.
