namely:
-July 16: Faure’s ‘Requiem’;
-November 6: Ralph Vaughan
Williams ‘Towards the Unknown
Region’ and Bob Chilcott’s ‘Five Days
that Changed the World’;
-November 19 Men Sing together we
run a workshop for men at a very
discounted rate and it was supported
by a professional male singer
-December 16: Christmas concert we
had to change the date due to the
weather but we had a bit smaller but
very appreciative audience and it was
a perfect opportunity for the audience
to join in singing familiar and some
new songs; and
- March 25 (2023) ‘Music from Vienna’
This concert was originally planned
for March 2020 to mark the 250th
anniversary of Beethoven’s birth,
which we were prevented from
performing due to the Covid
lockdown. The concert included
works by Beethoven and Haydn, as
well as the remarkable music of
Marianna Martines, a Viennese
contemporary and associate of
Beethoven and Haydn. This concert
was performed jointly with another
choir, some guest soloists and a small
orchestra.
Weheld anopen workshopinJanuary

2023 to work through the March concert repertoire, where we provided non-choir members with the opportunity to experience the music and to potentially join the choir on a permanent basis. We sang in celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee and performed at the London Borough of Redbridge Jubilee beaconlighting ceremony.
