|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|Ongoing rehearsals which developed<br>skills and appreciation of classical<br>music for around 40 choir members.<br>The staging of 4 public concerts, 3 in<br>the London Borough of Redbridge,<br>namely:<br>-July 16:  Faure’s ‘Requiem’;<br>-November 6: Ralph Vaughan<br>Williams ‘Towards the Unknown<br>Region’ and Bob Chilcott’s ‘Five Days<br>that Changed the World’;<br>-November 19 Men Sing together we<br>run a workshop for men at a very<br>discounted rate and it was supported<br>by a professional male singer<br>-December 16:  Christmas concert we<br>had to change the date due to the<br>weather but we had a bit smaller but<br>very appreciative audience and it was<br>a perfect opportunity for the audience<br>to join in singing familiar and some<br>new songs; and<br>- March 25 (2023) ‘Music from Vienna’<br>This concert was originally planned<br>for March 2020 to mark the 250th<br>anniversary of Beethoven’s birth,<br>which we were prevented from<br>performing due to the Covid<br>lockdown.  The concert included<br>works by Beethoven and Haydn, as<br>well as the remarkable music of<br>Marianna Martines, a Viennese<br>contemporary and associate of<br>Beethoven and Haydn. This concert<br>was performed jointly with another<br>choir, some guest soloists and a small<br>orchestra.<br>Weheld anopen workshopinJanuary|





2023 to work through the March concert repertoire, where we provided non-choir members with the opportunity to experience the music and to potentially join the choir on a permanent basis. We sang in celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee and performed at the  London Borough of Redbridge Jubilee beaconlighting ceremony.
