STATUS OF THE CHARITY
The Longacre School Parent Teacher Association was formed on 4[th] October 1985 and it became a registered charity number 1037373 on 9[th] May 1994. The purpose of the association is to advance the education of the pupils of the school by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for the school and as an ancillary thereto and in furtherance of this object the Association may foster more extending relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school and may engage in activities that support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it.

NOTES TO THE ACCOUNTS
1 Accounting policies
a) Accounting convention
The accounts are prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with applicable accounting standards and the Statement of recommended Practice on Accounting by Charities.
b) Income
Income from events represents the net amount receivable for the period. All other income is included in the income and expenditure account as it is received.
c) Gifts in kind
The charity receives the benefit of work carried out by volunteers and receives the use of facilities and equipment without charge. No value is placed on these items.
d) Cash flow statement
The association has taken advantage of the exemption granted under FRS1 not to produce a cash flow statement.
2 Taxation
The association has charitable status and as such is exempt from corporation tax.

STATUS OF THE CHARITY
The Longacre School Parent Teacher Association was formed on 4[th] October 1985 and it became a registered charity number 1037373 on 9[th] May 1994. 1 Accounting policies

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 / 08 / 2022.
- Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention (other than that disclosed below *) in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
