Mayday Trust provides The PTS Response, person-led, transitional and strengths-based coaching. Returning control to people to shape their own futures. We developed strengths-based, person-led coaching to people experiencing tough times like homelessness or leaving care. We use the learning and values of this approach to help organisations and local area implement practical strengths-based working
Objects: 1.1 The Objects Of The Charity Are For The Public Benefit:(1) To Relieve Those In Need Or Suffering Hardship Or Distress By Reason Of Youth, Age, Ill-Health, Disability (including Mental And Learning Or Associated Disabilities), Vulnerability, Substance Abuse Or Dependency (including Alcohol, Drug Or Substance Misuse), Homelessness, Financial Hardship, Having Suffered A Restriction On Their Liberty Or Other Disadvantage Primarily, But Not Exclusively, Through The Provision Of Support, Advice And Counselling.(2) To Promote Social Inclusion By Preventing People From Becoming Socially Excluded, Relieving The Needs Of Those People Who Are Socially Excluded And Assisting Them To Integrate Into Society.(3) To Carry On For The Benefit Of The Community The Business Of Providing Houses, Hostels, Supported Housing Or Any Other Housing And Associated Amenities, Services Or Assistance For Vulnerable Adults And Others Resident In The United Kingdom Who Are Homeless Or In Need Or Suffering Hardship Or Distress Or Who Have Suffered A Legal Restriction On Their Liberty, On Terms Appropriate To Their Means.(4) To Promote Any Other Charitable Purpose And In Particular The Relief Of Poverty.for The Purpose Of This Clause “socially Excluded” Means Being Excluded From Society, Or Parts Of Society, As A Result Of One Of More Of The Disadvantages At 1.1(1)
