Charitable purposes
The objective of the charity is to manage, maintain and facilitate
the use of the village hall and recreation ground for the use of
the inhabitants of the village and surrounding areas. They are
responsible for the upkeep and provide a safe environment for
clubs and other users.
Summary of the main activities The hall is hired for a number of uses such as: -

|Summary of the main|
|achievements of the charity|The year has been difficult due to Covid-19 and few regular|
|during the financial period|activities have taken place, either because Covid regulations did|
|not permit them or because the users were uncomfortable about|
|meeting in groups. Despite that, we have managed to keep it|
|safe for users when regulations allowed us to open and for|
|essential maintenance while the building was effectively closed.|
|The main income for the year to 31/03/2021 was therefore in the|
|form of a £25,000 grant from Powys County Council aimed at|
|supporting village halls at a time when their income was severely|
|diminished. Once allowed, we will be looking to invest the grant,|
|and other income on projects to improve the infrastructure and|
|facilities provided.|
