East Eg8 Hunt, Photos, and a Summer Fayre. £840 was also ralsed by Middlesex Unlversrty. 0ryanlsa￿On and Maftagement The charity is managed by a Management Committee which would nornially meet regularly, at least 6 times a year, to ensure that the Playgroup complies Fts aims and is properly managed. The Commlttee Members are normally elected at the Annu31 General Meeting and hold office for one vear but are able to stand for reolertion unless a member has served for ten consecutive years.

Trustee Respmslbllltles The Charities Att 2011 requires thetn￿teeS to prepare financial statements each year in accordance with the current regulations. The tnjstees are ￿pon￿ble for keeping proper accounting records, which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial Position of the year. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the trust and hence for takin8 reasonable rteps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities. Flnanclal Revlew The accounts have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis in accordance with the Charities Act 2011. Therefore. the surplus shown on the Income and Expenditure Account of £40,506 12022 £50,486) does not take account of any liabilities that may be owed by the Playgmup or amounts due to the Playgroup at the period end. The surplus 15 in in line with the expettations of the Trustees, and the Trustees are now in a postfion to hold sufficierrt reserves to cover variable running costs for at least 6 months and to have a contingenLry for repairs and maintenance to the nursery building and any other emergencies. We have spent £13,393 on the enhancement of the nursery gardens duringthe financial year.
