The minuies from the last years meeting were agreed and no marters arising. 3. Chair persons past year report. (See aitachedl SB started off by saying that we have had a successful past T 2 monih5 Wlth numbers of children increasing. We were proactive wi(h getting rhe defib placed at school. We will be continuing with the beach cleaning rota which CF is organising. A massive rhanks to her for her support with thi5. Thanks a150 goes out io AD, SN and Hugh for their efforts with Ihe Santa slelgh. SB thanked all the staff for 'holding the fort, while the manager M8 was away. All have done a brilliant job and it is much appreciated, especially AD for raking on the managers role during this tirne. Leigh ha5 been with us for many year5 and is an excelleni practitioner and a valued member of staff. SB a150 highlighted at how impre55ed She is with SN who has adapted to her role and ha5 become a valued member of the team. Also thanks 10 LP who is. a5 always, efficient with lookin9 after our finances. SB sraied at how amazing the setting is looking now both indoor5 and out. The refurb of the building has helped 10 keep the children warm during the winter monrhs. SB mentioned about the fact the preschool is in a prim locaiion being on the school grounds. This will help the children tTansition to the big school easier. SB closed her statement by saying that She has been the chair for the preschool for 7 years and she fee15 It5 now her lime 10 stand down and pass the rein5 onto the next person. She ha5 enjoyed meeting all the children and watching them all develop and move on. 4. Secretary'5 past year repori. JC sent in a report with SB (See attached) to State that preschool ha5 coniinued to develop its activities for all the children. The children are encouraged to experiment and panicipate in a varied programme of learning
projects. Over 2022 the preschool ha5 been fortunate to recewe donations and funding from a variety of sources. JC thanked everyone for their hard work and wished everyoThe well for the future. JC has taken this opportunity to formally srep down as secretary. She hoped rar the role can be filled by someone c105er io rhe day 10 day running of the preschool. 5. Treasurers past year Report. LP reported that currenrly there is £25,859 in the bank. The accounts have been signed off by the Tim Allen. We have had a slightly higher ouigoing for Play equipment recently. Please see attached. 6. Preschool Leaders Pasi Year report. Leaders Past year repon. MB starred off by saying that we are now at full capacity and we even have a waiting lisil Thanks to AD, Leigh, SN, LD for looking after the preschool while She wa5 off. With the main thanks going io AD who pulled it out rhe bagl We had a child protection issue which arose during my absence and AD held li professionally. She communicated wilh other Agencies.
