The Trustees of the Club are elected by Club members annually at the SGM. This happened in November 2023 for the Club Year starting July 2024. The Trustees represent approximately 10% of the Club membership.

Process All payments from the Trust Fund have to have approval in writing by both Trustees Objects Support of deserving causes or charitable organisations, organisations or individuals as The Club shall in duly constituted meetings from time to time direct Reserves Policy The trust fund has no ongoing operating expenditure and requires only minimal reserves. All income is applied to the charitable objectives of the trust fund. Activities and Achievements The club has had another busy and successful year during which we distributed £25,857 to 23 worthy causes including national and local charities and organisations. During the same period we raised some £26,800 from a variety of fundraising events and activities.
The club continues to work hard at various fundraising activities and remains in a sound financial position.
It is our intention to continue to support various worthy causes during the current financial year.

Report to the Rotary Club of Maidstone Riverside
I report on the attached accounts of the Rotary Club of Maidstone Riverside for the year ended 30 June 2025.
The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.
In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention which gives me reasonable cause to believe that, in any material respect, the requirements to keep accounting records and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records have not been met.
No matter has come to my attention in connection with my examination to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
