The year has been very tight financially for the Playgroup and we have maintained an adequate bank balance. There is enough in the bank to cover our commitments over the summer period. The majority of our income was received from Swindon Borough Council to fund places for 3 and 4 year olds. This totalled £98,463.84 and was enough to cover the staff wage cost in cluding pension payments of £86,067.55 Fundraising activities have generated a massive £700.00 income to playgroup,without this support playgroup could to buy resources.
