|---|---|---|
| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | The year started very well with school discos and movie nights very well attended. The Christmas fair raised a record amount over £10K, an amazing achievement for all involved! They were fantastic community events providing opportunities for children to perform as well as socialise. Sadly, events were curtailed in the summer term by the arrival of covid-19. In December we were able to fund the installation of a new sound and light system in the junior school hall for use at events and performances. It was installed in time for the Christmas productions which were superb with the new lights and microphones. In January, we saw the completion of the new play area on the Infant Site, which has transformed the outside play space for the children. The new play area is all weather and with far more activities for the children. It is already well used and much loved by the children. |
