**discos and movie nights very well**
**attended. The Christmas fair raised a**
**record amount over £10K, an amazing**
**achievement for all involved! They were**
**fantastic community events providing**
**opportunities for children to perform as**
**well as socialise. Sadly, events were**
**curtailed in the summer term by the**
**arrival of covid-19.**
**In December we were able to fund the**
**installation of a new sound and light**
**system in the junior school hall for use at**
**events and performances. It was installed**
**in time for the Christmas productions**
**which were superb with the new lights**
**and microphones.**
**In January, we saw the completion of the**
**new play area on the Infant Site, which**
**has transformed the outside play space**
**for the children. The new play area is all**
**weather and with far more activities for**
**the children. It is already well used and**
