Charity Number 1026117 Trustees’ Annual Report For the year to 30[th] June 2024

The charity’s principal objectives are to raise funds to provide grants and donations for the benefit of mainly local charities and individuals.

Our key fundraising event for the year was the Mammoth Car Boot Sale held on August Bank Holiday Monday which raised £25,000. We are grateful for permission by the Earl of Pembroke to use the grounds of Wilton House for this event.

Other fundraising activities included marshalling at the “Wilton Wake Ups” which are breakfast car meetings held at Wilton House and raise funds for the Salisbury Hospital’s Stars Appeal and Wilton Rotary’s own charity.

We were also one of four named beneficiaries of the Mayor of Salisbury’s charities during the year.

Our Christmas fundraising and community activities included taking 70 elderly residents of Wilton to the Coombe Bisset Panto, Santa’s Sleigh tour of Wilton and mulled wine at the Christmas light switchon in Wilton.

The charity is governed by the Trust Fund Deed dated 2[nd] August 1993 which states that the Trustees are the following officers of the Rotary Club of Wilton namely:
