I had thoroughly enjoyed my time being the Chairper50n for the l&%t l'ear. There were challenging times due to unprecedenled limes ￿'e are in, however 'e had still managed to 018anise and t74m event5 raising deeeni amounts for the PTA. Some of the memorable experiences had been giving a perfect farewell to Mrs Stewart on her retirement and M'elcoming the neiv headteacher Mr Ivieder. IITe had amazing r¢sults for the events Wrap a Presenl, Easter Egg Hunt. Outdoor Disco. Bag2School, Non-uniforni days, second hand uniforn] sales and Try a Tri. The PTA ha5 alM2ys been looking out for new ways io Improve with fresh and iTJnovaiive ideas. Some of the traditional events gave to few brand-new evenis such as Safari/Easter Egg hunt trail M'alks, Zoom Santa, Virtual Halloween Disco, Santa Run. Virtual Bingo/Quiz niuhts. Make the Rules and ice lollies sale which has raised inierest amongst the pareni communily 8J]d a thumbs up from the children as well. The PTA has been actii-el!. planning and delivering innoi'i live fundraising opportunitie5 to improve the financial posiiion of ihe PTA and provide a ii'id¢ range of activiiics for ihe childrcn to enjoy. which in turn supports th¢ school ii'ith additional learning resources. Finaneial Ptrformance The vfA hai'e raised £31.420.12 of incomc this year ond brought us new a¢tivities such as th¢ Santa Run, Easi and Half Terni Safari map hunts and thc Walk io Wembley whi¢h Mr Wi¢der introduced to Coincide 'ith the summer of Eum Football Championships. These activities gave the children a changc io grt out and exercise as ￿'ell as provide a reM•rd for their endeavours. Th¢ PTA eOTnrnitted £22,698.90 of these funds to the Sch￿1. which went towards PUTehasing new I-pads, outdoor lunch benches. new bcKJks and onlinc l¢arnin- licertses. Afier deducting expenses and the funding provid¢d to the SchooL the PTA made a loss of £4.516.1 I for the year. In additioll to all the Th'onderfitl fundraising activitie& we are also very glad to receive cor￿rate match fundin& whieh in the year totsled £9.439. A big thank you goes io Hemant, TiDg, 13)ui$¢, Anna. Vani, Derek and VigDesb for arrdnsing the hclp at the variou5 events and applying to their respective employers io gain the additional match funding.
