We aim to ensure that each child is in a safe
and stmulatng environment. Every child is
given generous care and atenton, has the
chance to join in with other children and adults
to live, play work and learn together. This helps
to take forward his/her learning and
development by being able to build on what
he/she already knows and can do. Every child
has a key person who makes sure each child
makes satsfactory progress, our setng sees
parents as parents in helping each child to
learn and develop and parents are able to hep
to shape the service it ofers. Our programme
supports children to develop the knowledge,

selfawareness; and managing feelings and

all of which directly enrich the
environment for the children

introduction to the preschool’s
operational structure, a review of the
charity’s constitution, and an
explanation of their legal

Commission guidance. All committee
members undergo mandatory DBS
checks and are provided access to
safeguarding and early years
governance training.
