Funds Unrestrtcted Funds - Aims & Objectives Comprise nel accumulated surpluses. which are available for use in the fvrtherance of the general chantable objeth.ves ol the Trust Fund. Unrestricted Funds- Designated Comprise amounts that have been set aside by the Ttuslees for specffic objectwes. Restricted fvnds Comprise funds and assets subject to specific (xindth"ons imposed by the donors. c. Incoming SourceS Donations are included in the year that the charity bec£smes entitled lo receive the income. Investment income is included in the year in which ii is received. d. Resources •xpended Grants are accounled for on a payrYEnt basis. Other costs a accounted for on an accruals basis. Investment income All investment income received has been from bank or building society accounts. Aims & Objectives Fund During the year, £1,420 wa5 distn"buted to the 0Ington and Bromley Gateway Club from the £2,840 which was received from Beckenham Round Table during 2021122, with the request that we distribute the funds to local charities. The remaining £1,420 was distributed to the Bromley Downs Syndrome Support Group during 2021122.

This fund is capped at £2,000 and was not used during the year. The International Charttable Fund was established to account for funds designated for intemational charrtable causes. The Fund has increased during the year from the surplus of a QUE Evening and from contribub.ons by the members of The Rotary Club of Beckenham. During the year, a donation of £590 was made to ShelterBox and £564 was donaled for Generators for Ukraine through District 1120. The Charities Fund comprises funds raised from the Club's annual Christmas collections and other activities. The Tnjstee's through the Club Board have designated that the amounts raised should be expended for the benefit of chitdren wtthin the London Borough of Bromley arEd other worthwhile causes. As al 1 st July 2022 the balance on the Preshlenf s Charity Fund {now Past President's Charty Fund) stood at £3,050 which has been distributed to St Christopherfs Hospi. Two of this year's Presidenys Nominated Charities are the Kent Association of the Blind and Liverpool University, both of which have been donated £500. Sir¢ce the year end, £1,000 has been donated to the Bromley Starter PacL Following the receipt after the year end of a further £35, the balance of funds to be distributed is £623. A quiz wa5 held during the year to raise funds for the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund. The funds raised enabled a donation of £1,000 to be made lo the District 1120 Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. This year the Swimalong fijndraising event raised £5,915 for the Bfomley Little Theatre and this has been distributed to thern. In addition a balance held of £44 from last year for The London Air Ambulance was distributed to the charity-

The is maintained specifically for Rotary Intemational's Foundation Trust, to which payments are made periodically- A distribution of £1.000 was made to"Ersd Polio Now. during the year. The Charles Stock Legacy thmprised an arnount of £1.000 reiVed under the Will of a former member of the Club. The fund has been and will be used to support studentslyouths undertaking projects at home and abroad in the spirit of the original legacy and now stands al £371 as at the Balance Sheet date. The original aim of the Bowlers Hospttal Amenities Fund was lo provide additional equipment for local hospitals, but this has been widened to indude Ial chath"es. Ouring the year, £1,180 was raised from refreshments, raffles and competrtion entran fees. Distributions were made during the year of £665 to Friends of the PRUH, £1,200 to the Pnmrose Centre and £1.21)O to Lewisham & Greenwch NHS Trust..
