Basis of accounting The accounts have been piepared under the h￿tOriCal cost convention. b. Funds Unrestricted Funds- Aims & Objects Comprise net accumulated surpluses, which are available for use in the furtherance of the general charitable objectives of the Tnjst Fund. Unrestricted Funds- Designated Comprise anKsunts that have been set aside by the Trustees for s￿ifiC objectives. Restricted fijnds Comprise funds and assets subject to specthc conditions imposed by the donors. In¢oming resour¢es Donations are included in the year thal the charity becomes entitled to r￿1ve the income. Investment income is included in the year in which it is received. d. Resources expended Grants are accounted for on a payment basis. Olher costs are accounted for on an accruals basis. lrtvestment income All investment income received has been from bank or buikling soctety accounts. Aims & Objectives Fund During the year, £2,840 was receNed from Beckenham Round Table with the request that we distribute the funds to local charities. Therefore. during the year. £1,420 was distributed to the Bromley Downs Syndrome Support Group and £1,420 has been distributed to the Orpington and Bromley Gateway Club after the year end.

This fund is capFed al £2,000. During the year £1,000 was donated from the fund lo the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal and was thereafter topped up to £2,000. The Intemational Charitable Fund was established to account for fvnds designated for intemational charitable causes. The Fund has increased during the year by contribukn.ons from the members of The Rotary Club of Beckenham. During the year, a donab'on of £590 was made to ShellerBox. The Charities Fund comprises funds raised from the Club's annual Christmas collections arsd other activities. The Trtjslee's through the Club Board have designated that the amounts raised should be expended for the benefit of children within the London Borough of Bromley and other worthwhile causes. As al 1 st July 2021 the balan￿ on the Presideftf s Charity Fund (now Past President's Charity Fund) stood at £1,486 which has been distributed to BECOME. This yearfs President's Nominated Charities are the Kent Association of the Blind donated £5.020, Bromley Little Theatre donated £3.050 and St Christopherfs Hospice donaled £3,050 after the year end. Funds raised for the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund during the year totalled £1,782. This resulted from a collection of £724 at Tesco, £923 from a Bam Dance and £135 in advan￿ contributions ft)r a Quiz. From this fund £1,000 has been used to provide medications to Ukraine. This year il has been FKJssible to hold the Swimalong fund rising event. Funds raised and distributed to The London Air Ambulance totalled £5,516. Of this sum £1,584 was donated direct to The London Air Ambulance, £3,888 has been donated via our Trust Fund and £35 plus Gift AKJ remains to be distributed.

The Charles Stock Legacy compris8J an amount of £1,000 received under the Will of a former member of the Club. The fvjnd has been and will be used to support studentslyouths undertaking projects at home and abroad in the spirit of the original legacy and now stsnds at £371 as at the Balance Sheet date. The original aim of the Bowlers Hospital Amenities Fund was to provide additional equipment for local hospitals, but this has been widened lo include I￿al charities. During the year, £1,238 was raised from refreshments, raffles and cOm￿tItIon entrance fees.

Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the prepara￿n of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Chafities Act 2011 1.the Acri. I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts (amed out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Chanty Commission under section 145{5)Ibl of the Act. Independent examinerfs ststement I have completed my examination. I confimi that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respectr. 1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act., or 2. the accounts do not accord wth those records. I have no COn￿rnS and have come across no other matter5 in connection wtth the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a pKoper underslanding of the accounts to be reathed.
