| In November 2022, the Group attended the church fora Remembrance |

| service. Children marched from the gardens in Aylesford village up tothe |

| church, led by flagbearers. They were also invited to read a poem or |

| passage before everyone went outside to observe the two-minute | ||

| Our members enjoyed a variety ofcamps and activities this year within |

| their sections. They also took part in 'Quest8' which was a district run | ||
| event during the Early May Bank Holiday weekend, with over 550 young |

| people in attendance. This was a great success, and incorporated all |

| sections; Squirrels attended during the day, whilst Beavers, Cubs and |

| Scouts camped overnight, ranging from 1to 3nights. |

During the days, the young people rotated between a number ofdifferent activities, ranging from quad bikes, inflatable slides, shooting, archery, football, climbing, tomahawk axe throwing, animal corner, drums and bushcraft. They also went off-site on the Sunday to Mote Park, and spent a whole morning taking part in water sports. During the evenings, there was a campfire with songs, movie night and a silent disco. |

Fundraising โthe group was fortunate enough to receive donations totalling f1282.50.Part ofthis was in support ofthe group, while the majority was a donation from our local parish council to support one of our Scouts and Young Leaders for their trip to South Korea. |
