2022, the Group attended
the church fora Remembrance| |---|---|---| |||service. Children
marched
from the gardens
in Aylesford
village up tothe| |||church, led by flagbearers.
They were also invited to read a poem or| |||passage before everyone went outside to observe the two-minute| |||silence.| |||Our members
enjoyed a variety ofcamps and activities this year within| |||their sections. They also took part in 'Quest8' which was a district run| |||event during the Early May Bank Holiday weekend,
with over 550 young| |||people in attendance.
This was a great success, and incorporated
all| |||sections; Squirrels attended
during the day, whilst Beavers, Cubs and| |||Scouts camped
overnight,
ranging

have||During the days, the young people rotated between a number ofdifferent
activities,
ranging
from quad bikes, inflatable
slides, shooting,

bushcraft. They also went off-site on the Sunday to Mote Park, and spent
a whole morning
taking part in water sports. During the evenings, there
was a campfire

Leaders to attend the World Scout Jamboree
