Summary of activity during the year
We had our Ofsted inspection on 15[th] November 2022 and received a good in all areas.
The children have enjoyed seasonal activities arranged for Easter and Christmas. At this year’s Christmas party we were able to provide food for the children donated by the staff. There was a good attendance for our annual Easter bonnet parade and parents kindly donated eggs for the Easter raffle. The raffle made £134.
As well as raising funds through the sponsored egg hunt our second hand toys and household goods sale in the foyer continues to prove successful with parents donating items to sell.
We had 22 children on the books and 9 have left to begin school. We held a pre-school graduation party for the pre-school leavers. Each child was presented with their learning journey, a framed graduation photograph and a graduation certificate.
The committee would like to thank the staff for donating the snacks and stationery in order to keep the running costs down. We would also like to thank the staff for fully funding the graduation party which included the gifts each child received.
Staff suggested cutting costs by not being paid for setting up and packing away before and after the session.
We have a good intake for September 2023.
