Furthermore the charity encourages the
professional development and education of
those providing the childcareby providing
training opportunities for staff as part of a
continual professional development
programme and improvement plan.

and responsibilities once they have been
elected on to the committee, this includes
ensuring trustees who have been involved

chair ensures all trustees are provided with
the necessary policies to ensure awareness
of their responsibilities regarding public
benefit. Information regarding the
importance of Public Benefit has been
disseminated at Committee meetings and
any areas of uncertainty discussed. All
trustees are aware of how the charities
benefits the public.

Achievements and Performance

Para 1.20 15 children were registered at beginning of
the Autumn term 2020. This equates to
34% capacity. Summer term 2020, 22
children were registered which equates to
over 58%. Following the uncertainty caused
by the pandemic, numbers are still looking
healthy.
After a difficult winter owing to restrictions
put in place as a result of the pandemic, we
were delighted to still be able to run our
Leavers’ Picnic at the end of the Summer
Term and the Village Easter Egg Trail
which raised £900.
Staff and Professional Development

hygiene training, maths training and
safeguarding training

The Pre School said goodbye to

Overall, the Pre-School recorded losses of
just under £6,500 for the academic year.
These losses were greater than expected,
however, not unfounded following the
pandemic
