This year we provided care and support for 47 children and their families. We held several fundraising events during the year. We had a stall at the Hedge End village Christmas light switch on market and enjoyed participating in a local community event. We also held our own Christmas and Summer fayres and an Easter bonnet parade in the spring term which were all well supported by our families. We held a fundraising art show of the children's work in the summer term where parents were able to purchase their child's flower painting. All the proceeds were invested into pre-school resources; purchases this year included small world toys, a new play kitchen, and an instant camera with printer. The children all enjoyed Christmas and summer parties with food, games and crafts. Staff, children and their families enjoyed a day out at our local park in June where we went on a bear hunt and held our annual sports day event. TAR March 2012
