During the year the charity provided opportunities for girls and young women from a wide variety of backgrounds to participate in a diverse range of activities to enhance their personal development, extend their social skills and encourage them to reach their potential.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
Due to COVID-19 face to face opportunities were stopped from March 2020. Many activities were conducted online. To maintaining connection with the young people a number of activities were adapted to an online offering.
Training programmes for leaders were conducted online to ensure that volunteers remained skilled and comfortable with the policies, regulations and programme of the association.
In delivering all of the above the Trustees have had regard to the guidance on public benefit issued by the Charity Commission.
