Trustees Report 01.04.2024 to 31.03.2025 What we do Youth Club, for Boys & Young men, with provision for Girls & Young Women to educate them through their leisure time activities to develop their physical and mental capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals to be useful members of society & that their conditions of life may be improved Additionally, we let our Building, where possible to assist the Youth of Chelmsford & beyond. How we do it Our Charity continues to provide facilities for the youth of Chelmsford and beyond both by operating a youth Club on Friday evenings and providing a home to various youth groups, both under our leases with: Essex Boys and Girls Clubs (Upper floors as offices, remainder of the building for face-to-face project work). Chelmsford Amateur Boxing Club (Monday & Wednesday Evenings and Sunday Mornings) Plus, in addition to ad-hoc lettings: Infinity All Stars (Youth gymnastics group, Tuesday Evenings) The Outhouse {LBGTQ+ Youth Group, Thursday Evenings) Trustees Peter Drummond Valerie Hoines Emma Pickering Brian Emma Paige Moore Emma Jennings Georgie Linda Wright Chair Treasurer Other Committee Attendees Martin Solder Jamie Drummond Various Representing Essex Boys and Girls Clubs Club Leader Provision for senior Member(s) Finances For the year 2024-2025 we received additional income (£7,500) as a one off backdated 3 years payment from Essex Boys and Girls Clubs for additional use of Harway House. However, we have made provision for the use of this to contribute towards expenditure for 2025-26, for roof repairs and other maintenance work required for the building. Additionally, our members are grateful to Chelmsford City Council, for their one-off grant for us to run Canoeing sessions this year. Chelmsford Boys and Girls Club is a working name of the Harway House Club which is registered as a Charity in England and Wales Registered Chartty Number 1012748 Affiliated to Essex Boys and Girls Clubs
