LLOYD'S 1922-2022 LLOYD'S CHOIR Trustees, Report For the Year ended 31 st August 2025 The Trustees have pleasure in submitting their Annual Report for the above year. CONSTITUTION Lloyd's Choir is a Charity under English Law and is registered with the Charity Commission- Charity number l 012519. The governance of the Trust is laid out in the Society's constitution. The constitution was adoptcd at the Committee meeting held on the 26Ui July 2024. ORIECTIVES Th¢ Objectives of the Society shall be to promote, improve, develop and maintain publi¢ edu¢alion in and appreciation of the art and s¢i¢n¢¢ of miisic in all ils aspects by the preseiitation of public concerts and recital and by stsch other ways as the Choir through its Cointnittee shall deternjine from time to time. ACHtEVEMENTS The choir perfornied its usual programme of Autumn. Christmas, Spring and Summer concerts, together with various stnall group events. These were all well attend¢d in t¢m)s of audienc¢, and gave our members the opportunity to sing a wide range of music. RESERVES Th¢ reserves are maintained in order for ihe objeclives of the Choir to be achieved in future y¢ars. FINAP4CIAL INFORMATION The Choir's income for thc year was £39,140 (2024.. £31,920) The total expenses for the year w¢re £29,790 (2024.. £29,169) ACKNOWLEDGEMEf4T The Choir gratefully acknowledges the significant contribution of all thos¢ involv¢d who hav¢ given both time and money in support of th¢ Choir's activitics. The Choir is a chaiity and 15 recogiiised as such by H. M. Revenue & Customs for taxation purposes. As a i¢siili there is no liability to taxation on any of its income. LLOYD'S 1922-2022 Independent examiner's report to the trustees of the Lloyd's Choir I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the Lloyd's Choir I'the Choirfl for the year ended 31" August 2025 Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity trustees of the Choir you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 20111'the Act'l. You consider that an audit 15 not required for this year under section 144121 of the Act and that an independent exarnination is needed. I report in respect of my examination of the Choirfs accounts carried out under section 145 of the Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 14515llbl of the Act. Independent examiner's statement I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material re5pect- accounting records were not kept in respect of the Choir as required by section 130 of the Act,. or the accounts do not accord with those records. I have no concerns and have come acros5 no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached. Some of these are the Choir's own concerts, attracting sizeable audiences. All of these events bring joy to Members and audiences alike. Members of the charity represent various London City organisations through which the charity is spreading it's reach.
