Voluntser Servic8 and OLrtreach Support. Th8 Charity is contracted by the local Council to provlde a Domestlc Vlol8nce SeNle8 for Milton Keynes. Publ1¢ Bone The Trustegs have consldered th8 publlc benefit guidance publlshed by the Charlty Commisslon and are 8atisfl8d that the Charltys facililles are made available to all appropriate members of the public. Wh8re thè tenants are unable to meet their rental payments directly, council funding is available to ensure that all membors of the public can b8 provided wlth accommodation wlthout reference to thelr financlal position. The Charltys helpllne Is available during office hours and our accommodation provision has the facility in emergency sltuattons an onwcall functlon. The trust88S. The net income from all funds, after investment income, was £64,012 for the year. compared with net exp8ndituré of {£46,884) in 2023. A detailed review of the Twst's financial position is shown in the Statement of Flnanclal A¢tlvltles. Reserves pollcy The trustees have reviewed and established a new policy. The unrestricted funds not committed or Inv6sl8d in tangible fixed assets (the free reserves) held by the Chanty should be be￿en three and six months of the résources expended, which equates lo £250.000 and £500,000 in general funds. At this level, the management ommlttee feels that they W￿ld be able to continue the current activities of the Charity in the event of a significant drop In funding.11 would provide a timo frame In which it would be necessary to consld8r how th8 fundlng would be replaced or activlties changed. A formal review of the Charity's buslness risk management process is und8rtak8n on a periodic basls. The Trustees ensure that regular Ind8pondent Health and Safety revl8ws are carried out.
