Historically. income for the charity has come from just three $ours- rent from property, dividends from investments and bank interest. The Charity owns a commercial property in Walton-0Tharnes. purchased in June 2016 at a cost of £657,404. Rents received in the year 2021122 amounted to £42.353 (previous year. £31,894). Due to the coronavirus lockdown from March 2020. the tenants were allowed a three month rent Tholidaf In the vear 2020-2021. Dividends received were £14,23212021>21: £11.450) and interest from Investments was £3112020-21: £1861. £1,000 Ivas paid to St John & St Mark PCC Out of the residue of income received, £7,777 (2020-21: £8,764) was donated from the Promotion of Education Fund and £9,896 from the Relief in Need Fund (2020-21: £12.906). Out of the Relief in Need Fund. £1.680 wa5 donated to indFviduals In need; £7,816 to other organlsations and £400 as Christmas gifts to fonrer Normansfield residents. The Trustees are avrdre of the implications of sections 28. 29, 30 and 32 of the Constitution of 1990 regarding application of income and can state that they belieNE that they are not in breach of them. During the year the Trustees reviewed sections of the Constitution of 1990 regarding the appllcation of income to confirm and ensure compliano with them. Flnanclal Revlew Cash balanos at the bank and COIF at 31° March 2022 totslled £127.61012021: £95,853}. The Charity also holds 17.355 COIF units worth at financial year end £337,95512021: £311,106} and M&G Charifund . Our outgoing yearty commitments are Still quite Small in comparison. If our income was to drop significantly in any year it would cause no financial problem5, SO it has been agreed that at the present we do not need to hold any reserves separately. but that we would review the position annually.
