Composition of the body of Trustees".
The body of trustees shall consist when complete of seven competent persons being one ex-
offico trustee, three nominated trustees and three co-opted trustees. The nominated trustees
shall be appointed for a term of 4 years and the cowed trustees for a temi of 5 years.
Objects of the charty set out In Its oovernlng body
The area of benefit IS the area of the Ecclesiastical Patish of St. Mark, Teddington and St. John the
Baptist. Hampton Wicl together with SL Mary and St. Alban in Teddington.
Subject to the payment of the expense5 of management. the Trustees shall pay out of the yearly income
of the Charity a sum of not less than £50 and not more than £l.(XKI or such other amount as may be
approved by the Commissioners to the Parochial Church Council of the existing Ecclesiastical Parlsh of
St.Mark, Teddington and St. John the Baptist. Hampton Wick. for application by that council in or
towards the Maintenan￿ and upkeep of the Church of St. John the Baptist in that ecclesiastical parish.

Provided that rf at any time the Churth Commissioners estsblish a pastoral scheme which creates a new
ecclesiastical parish and as a result of whith the said church is situated the￿in then the Trustees shall
pay the said sum to the parothial Churth Council of the new ecclesiastical parish for application by that
council in like manner.
Subjert thereto the Trustees shall apply the said income as follows:_

The Trustees met three times: in June and October 2021 and in January 2022.
Historically. income for the charity has come from just three $our￿s- rent from property, dividends
from investments and bank interest.
The Charity owns a commercial property in Walton-0￿Tharnes. purchased in June 2016 at a cost of
£657,404. Rents received in the year 2021122 amounted to £42.353 (previous year. £31,894). Due to the
coronavirus lockdown from March 2020. the tenants were allowed a three month rent Tholidaf In the
vear 2020-2021.
Dividends received were £14,23212021>21: £11.450) and interest from Investments was £3112020-21:
£1861.
£1,000 Ivas paid to St John & St Mark PCC Out of the residue of income received, £7,777 (2020-21:
£8,764) was donated from the Promotion of Education Fund and £9,896 from the Relief in Need Fund
(2020-21: £12.906). Out of the Relief in Need Fund. £1.680 wa5 donated to indFviduals In need; £7,816
to other organlsations and £400 as Christmas gifts to fonr*er Normansfield residents.
The Trustees are avrdre of the implications of sections 28. 29, 30 and 32 of the Constitution of 1990
regarding application of income and can state that they belieNE that they are not in breach of them.
During the year the Trustees reviewed sections of the Constitution of 1990 regarding the appllcation of
income to confirm and ensure compliano with them.
Flnanclal Revlew
Cash balanos at the bank and COIF at 31° March 2022 totslled £127.61012021: £95,853}.
The Charity also holds 17.355 COIF units worth at financial year end £337,95512021: £311,106} and
M&G Charifund . BLK Charitie5 UK Equty Fund and BLK Charities UK Bond Fund units valued in totsl at
£133.98112021: £124,803).

Reserves Policv
The Charity holds considerable reserves at the present. Our outgoing yearty commitments are Still quite
Small in comparison. If our income was to drop significantly in any year it would cause no financial
problem5, SO it has been agreed that at the present we do not need to hold any reserves separately. but
that we would review the position annually.

I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31
March 2022 which are set out on pages 5 and 6.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charitvs trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance wtth the
requirements of the Charities Att 2011 {'the ACVI.
I report in respect of my examination of the chari￿$ accounts carried out under Section 145 of the Act
and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity
Commission under 5ettion 1451511bl of the Att.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in
connertion with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:
accounting records were not kept in respect of the tharity as required by sertion 130 of the Art; or
the accounts do not accord with those record
I have no concerns and have corne across no other matters connettion with the examination to which
attention should be drawn in this ￿port in order to enable a proper understar)ding of the accounts to be
reached.
