FERN CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP STATEMENT OF CHARITY TRUSTEES RESPONSIBIUTIES The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees, Report and the financial statements in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practi￿ {FRS 102) for charities issued by the Charity Commission and the Charities Act 2011. The law applicable to charities in England & Wales requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair vtew of the stste of affairs of the charity and of the incoming reSoU￿eS and application of reSoUr￿S of the charity for that period. In preparing these financial statements, the trustees are required to: select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently; observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP. make judgements and eslimates that are reasonable and prudent. state whether applicable accounting standards have been followed. subject to any departures disclosed and explained in the financial statements; prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it Is Inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in operation. The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting Tecords that disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the chaiity and enable them to ensure that the financial ststements comply IMth the Chatitles Act 2011 and the provisions of the trust deed. RESPECTIVE RESPONSIBIUTIES OF TRUSTEES AND EXAMINER The charity's trustses are responsible for the preparation of the a￿￿nts. The charity's trustees consider that an audit 15 not required for this year under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act), and that an independent examination is needed.
