Trustees Annual Financial Report for the year ended 31 March 2024

The receipts and expenses summary (C3) shows a deficit of £7508.96 for the financial year ending 31 March 2024.

We were delighted to have young people and leaders from our group chosen for the 2023 World Jamboree and Project 23,and were pleased to be in a position to provide financial support to all of them.

During the financial year we saw an increase in our electricity bills from £70 a month to £258 a month. Girlguiding annual subscriptions for 2022/23 have been paid in 2023/24 financial year meaning 3 annual subsciptions have been paid during this financial year as opposed to the normal 2.

The available funds are at a level the Group Executive considers are sufficient to maintain its premises and continue delivering the Groups activities programmes.

The Baughurst Scout and Guide Group is a trust established under its rules, which are common to all groups/districts. Trustees are appointed in accordance with the Policy, Organisation and Rules of the Scout Association. The accounts have been drawn up showing receipts, payments and expenses paid between1st April 2023 and 31 March 2024.
