BS3 Community Development Association (formerly Southville Community Development Association) is a local charity supporting community development, providing a nursery & pre-school, out-of-school clubs for children, toddler group, day opportunity service for older people, rooms available for clubs, classes, local business & others, a cafe & catering service.

Objects: I) To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants, And Those Working In Or Frequenting The Neighbourhoods Comprising The Postal District Bs3 (hereinafter Called “the Area Of Benefit”) Without Distinction Of Sex Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Association Of The Local Authorities Voluntary Organisations And Inhabitants In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants And Those Working In Or Frequenting The Area Of Benefit. (ii) To Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of Community Centres And Other Facilities And To Maintain And Manage Or To Co-Operate With Any Local Statutory Authority In The Maintenance And Management Of Such Facilities For Activities Proposed By The Charity And Its Constituent Bodies In Furtherance Of The Charity’s Charitable Purposes.
