The advancement of the arts by exhibiting the art-work of the said Doctor Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, in addition to such art works as she acquired during her lifetime by other artists as well as any other relevant art works that the Trustees may acquire by purchase, loan or gift (which form the 'Art Collection'). This will include: i. Providing suitable space for the display of all/ part of the Art Collection and related events, including where relevant any part of the Art Collection archive and library.  ii. The provision of secure and appropriate storage facilities (environment controlled if necessary) for the Art Collection, archive and library. b. To keep the archive and library consisting of exhibition materials, sales records, images, books, audio visual and studio material and all such other relevant materials as compiled by the said Doctor Wilhelmina Barns-Graham and her studio manager Rowan James which are added to as appropriate by the Trustees. This will include making all/part of the archive and library available to researchers, artists, art students and the general public as required for educational and research purposes. c. To support charitable bodies with the prime purpose of advancing education, research and fellowships in the visual arts, as well as supporting the education and training of young people and such other individuals who are interested in the visual arts to help them fulfil their potential. This will include: i. Supporting the education and training of students and such other individuals who desire to learn, improve in and/or specialise in the art of painting, drawing and sculpture and such other related activities who require financial assistance. This will be provided through bursaries and/or payment of fees in whole or in part for attending arts establishments, arts courses provided at schools, colleges, universities, further education bodies, evening classes and such other related courses, events or learning opportunities, all as shall be determined at the sole discretion of the Trustees. For this purpose, bursaries can also be paid to cover materials, residencies, travel costs and exhibition costs. ii. Making the Art Collection available in whatever manner the Trustees determine to art students, researchers, other arts collections and establishments as well as the general public. and iii. Publishing exhibition catalogues, guides, books and such other information as may be helpful for educational purposes in whatever form the Trustees determine. d. To support such other charities, organisations, groups, bodies and projects with an interest in the visual arts in such manner as the Trustees determine in their sole discretion.
