rights and to promote improved access to the built environment, transport, digital services, healthcare, public services, information and welfare on the Isle of Arran, in order to improve the lives and wellbeing of Disabled people and people with long-term, chronic or fluctuating health conditions living on and visiting the island.  4.1.1 In pursuing its purposes, the organisation shall promote the social model of disability, recognising that people are disabled by barriers within society rather than solely by impairment or health condition. 4.2 Supporting Objects In furtherance of the above purpose, the organisation shall: 4.2.1 Advance the rights and interests of disabled people and people with long-term, chronic, fluctuating, or episodic physical or mental health conditions, including sensory, cognitive, learning, and neurodivergent conditions, by campaigning, influencing policy and promoting awareness through education, engagement and partnership working. 4.2.2 Carry out access audits and provide advice, guidance and practical recommendations to businesses, public authorities, voluntary organisations, and service providers in order to improve accessibility, inclusive design and service provision. 4.2.3 Engage with and provide informed input to planning processes, transport provision, infrastructure development, healthcare access, and public policy to ensure accessibility and inclusive design are embedded from the outset, with particular regard to the barriers experienced within rural and island communities. 4.2.4 Advocate for equitable access to healthcare and essential services for disabled people and people with long-term or fluctuating health conditions, recognising the additional challenges arising from rural geography, transport limitations and island living. 4.2.5 Provide peer support, advocacy and lived-experience informed guidance to disabled people and people with long-term or fluctuating health conditions in relation to welfare rights, access barriers and matters affecting wellbeing, and to work to secure systemic improvements in policies and practices affecting them. 4.2.6 Establish, facilitate, support and where appropriate fund networks, forums, support groups, youth groups and community activities for disabled people and people with long-term or fluctuating health conditions, including both existing and newly developed groups, in order to reduce isolation, promote wellbeing and strengthen community participation. 4.2.7 Develop and deliver training, workshops and educational resources to promote understanding of accessibility, inclusive design and the lived experience of disabled people. 4.2.8 Undertake, commission and publish research, surveys and reports relating to accessibility, inclusion, and the lived
