Objectives: The Trust’s purpose is: To provide financial support to develop new or existing opportunities and support for young people aged 25 and below in the Western Isles of Scotland. This age restriction is stated expressly in the charity’s purposes and applies to the people who may receive the charity’s benefits by: 1) Funding sporting and physical activities. 2) Supporting educational activities. 3) Contribute towards the upkeep and maintenance of the local scout/guide hall situated in Keith Street, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis. 4) Supporting educational welfare and achievements. 5) Provide bursaries and university books for the education of families in Stornoway with low income 6) To do all other such things as are charitable in law for the achievement of these objectives These purposes are for the public benefit and are consistent with the advancement of education and the advancement of citizenship or community development.
