Objectives: 4.1 To advance the health and wellbeing of people living with dementia within Doune, Deanston and the surrounding area. 4.2 To relieve the needs of people affected by dementia, including carers, families and friends, by providing support, information, and opportunities for social interaction. 4.3 To advance community development by promoting awareness and understanding of dementia, reducing stigma, and encouraging the creation of a dementia-friendly community. 4.4 To provide or facilitate access to recreational and social activities designed to improve the quality of life, confidence and inclusion of people living with dementia. 4.5 To work in partnership with local organisations, services and businesses to support the development of inclusive practices and environments for people affected by dementia.
