Objectives: 1. The advancement of health by raising awareness and understanding of pancreatitis (including acute, chronic, and hereditary forms) among the general public, patients, carers, and healthcare professionals across Scotland. by promoting early recognition, timely diagnosis, and improved standards of care. and by supporting and encouraging research into the causes, prevention, treatment, and management of pancreatitis. 2. The relief of those in need by reason of ill-health -- by providing information, educational resources, and support to individuals affected by pancreatitis and their families and carers. by advocating for improved services, pathways, and patient outcomes within the Scottish healthcare system. and by working collaboratively with NHS bodies, universities, and other organisations to improve the quality of life for those living with pancreatitis.
