Objectives: To advance heritage by preserving and developing the historic Burgh Chambers and Library building located in the Royal Burgh of Inverbervie. To enhance the preservation and enjoyment of historical artifacts celebrating the history of the coastal Mearns area. To promote citizenship, community development and to create volunteering opportunities for the benefit of the community of Inverbervie, the surrounding area and beyond by delivering a diverse variety of services and initiatives. To advance the provisions for educational opportunities in the Community, relating to environment, culture, heritage and/or history. To provide a location to allow library services to be delivered in an atmosphere conducive to learning and social interaction. To encourage a community hub to provide business (Meeting Rooms / workshop / internet access), leisure and recreational facilities within the Burgh Chambers & Library building. To continue to provide the current public convenience facilities located within the Burgh Chambers and Library building which are accessible to the residents of Inverbervie, to residents visiting from the villages detailed in the 'Community' at clause 4 above and to visitors from further afield.
