**Objectives:** 1. To advance community development by organising, promoting and supporting the Alness Gala and other community events, fostering civic pride, and encouraging active participation amongst residents.  2. To provide recreational facilities and organise activities with the aim of improving the conditions of life for people living in the Community, regardless of age, ability, background or belief.  3. To advance education and promote the arts, culture, heritage and science by facilitating workshops, exhibitions, performances and other cultural activities within the Community.  4. To promote volunteering and encourage the involvement of local people in the planning and delivery of community events and initiatives to enhance social cohesion and wellbeing.  5. To work in partnership with other charities, voluntary bodies, public and private sector organisations to further these purposes for the benefit of the Community.
