**Objectives:** 4 The organisation’s purposes are: (a) To advance public participation in sport by the provision, organisation and promotion of association football and other related physical activities for the benefit of the community, with particular emphasis on children, young people and other under-represented groups. (b) To advance health by encouraging participation in regular physical activity, promoting physical and mental wellbeing, and reducing social isolation through inclusive sporting and recreational programmes. (c) To advance citizenship and community development by fostering community cohesion, volunteering, leadership and positive social engagement through the development of a sustainable, community-focused football club. (d) To advance education by providing coaching, training, mentoring and development opportunities in football, sports leadership, teamwork and life skills for players, coaches, volunteers and officials. (e) To promote equality and diversity by ensuring that opportunities to participate in football and club activities are accessible to all, regardless of age, disability, gender, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, socio-economic background or other protected characteristics. (f) To provide recreational facilities in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities are primarily intended.
