Objectives: Purposes 5 The organisation is a non-profit distributing charity whose principal purposes are the advancement of education and the advancement of citizenship and community development. We aim to promote knowledge of the French language and culture by providing opportunities for people of all ages, especially young people, to learn through events, informal classes, cultural activities, and educational exchanges with our twinned villages in France, (Gensac, Coubeyrac and Pessac Sur Dordogne.) In furtherance of community development, the Association will foster twinning links between our villages and their French counterparts. This will include cultural, sporting, social, educational, and tourism exchanges, and regular communication between the communities. We will encourage local groups and clubs to establish partnerships, support volunteers to deliver projects and events, share best practice from our partners, and promote friendships between families across both countries to build mutual understanding and participation.
